Job Description
We run a marching band show website (marchingmonk.com) with approximately 300 show listings. Each show has detailed descriptions and multiple parameters (difficulty, style, genre, etc.). We want to implement Algolia's natural language search capabilities while maintaining our existing filtering system.
Project Requirements:
- Implement Algolia natural language search on the WordPress site
- Integrate with existing show database and filtering system
- Set up lead capture forms tied to search behavior
- Ensure mobile responsiveness
- Provide documentation and training
Current System:
- WordPress site with 300+ show listings
- Each show has ~100 word description
- Existing filtering/search system to maintain
- Shows categorized by multiple parameters
Required Skills:
- WordPress development experience
- Algolia implementation experience
- Natural language processing understanding
- PHP/JavaScript proficiency
- Experience with search optimization
Deliverables:
1. Algolia integration with natural language search
2. Lead capture system integration
