This individual will support two teams with diverse technical needs, requiring strong data flow and integration skills. The role involves assisting in the development of an online learning management application and a facility-facing application.
About the Role:
Bala's Team
The primary focus is on Bala's team, which requires assistance with their Online Learning Management Application. This application involves various integrations through PeopleSoft and other apps, necessitating high-level data flow expertise.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the development of the Online Learning Management Application
• Working with the team to ensure seamless data flow and integration
Connie's Team
Connie's team also requires support, focusing on course tool suite content management and a new application built on AWS. This may involve integrating data for grading and manipulating it as needed.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting in course tool suite content management
• Supporting the migration of the grading application to AWS, if necessary
Requirements:
• Technical Skills:
• Python (experience with versions 3.6 and 3.7)
• TDD (Test-Driven Development)
• Basic knowledge of React or Vue
• Postgres and/or Oracle database management
• SQL experience (as a secondary requirement)
• Java programming
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt to different team dynamics and technologies
• Long-term commitment to the role
