Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience in Python and strong in SQL or Snowflake SQL. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts. This role does not require travel. The Sr. Developer will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure ensuring high performance and availability of data to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.
• Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract transform and load data from various sources into Snowflake.
• Design and develop high-performance data solutions using Snowflake ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Utilize Python to automate data processing tasks develop data tools and integrate with various APIs.
• Provide technical expertise in the diagnosis and resolution of issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Lead the development of data architecture ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document data requirements ensuring clarity and alignment.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies protecting sensitive information and maintaining data integrity.
• Provide training and support to end-users helping them to effectively utilize data tools and resources.

Qualifications
• Must have strong experience in SQL with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
• Must have hands-on experience with Snowflake including data modeling performance tuning and security.
• Must have proficiency in Python for data processing automation and integration tasks.
• Nice to have experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Nice to have knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Must have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Nice to have experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery.
• Must have a strong understanding of data governance and security best practices.

Certifications Required
