experienced engineers and help shape our product. This is a unique opportunity to gain

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Backend Developer Intern with experience in Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL. In this role, you will help design, develop, and optimize scalable backend services and APIs that power our platform.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend.
• Work with PostgreSQL, ensuring efficient data storage, indexing, and query optimization.
• Implement authentication and authorization systems (OAuth, JWT).
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the backend system.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other engineers in an Agile development environment.
• Participate in code reviews and debugging, improving system reliability and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in backend development.
Requirements:
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL (database design, query optimization, indexing).
• Solid understanding of API development, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and web security best practices.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a bonus.
• Proficiency in Git and version control workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
• Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for debugging and optimizing performance.
• Self-driven, eager to learn, and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.
