We are looking for a talented Django Backend Developer with a proven track record in developing scalable and robust backend systems. Alongside your backend expertise, you should be comfortable working with frontend technologies such as Vue.js, Vuetify, and Tailwind CSS. Your role will involve close collaboration with our frontend team to ensure a seamless integration and a modern user experience.
Responsibilities:
• Backend Development:
• Develop, maintain, and scale Django-based backend systems
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs
• Implement database integrations (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Frontend Collaboration:
• Work closely with frontend developers to integrate Vue.js components using Vuetify and Tailwind CSS
• Assist in UI optimization and performance improvements
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct code reviews and testing to maintain high quality standards
• Participate in planning and implementing new features within an agile environment
Requirements:
• Technical Expertise:
• Solid experience with Python and Django (including ORM, middleware, and deployment processes)
• Proven track record in developing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Frontend Skills:
• Proficiency in Vue.js, Vuetify, and Tailwind CSS
• Additional Qualifications:
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with version control systems (preferably Git)
• Ideally, experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Good communication skills in English or German
