The PlayerX theme is installed, and Elementor Pro is set up. Your job is to refine the design, optimize site performance, and ensure esports functionality is fully integrated.

This is Phase 1 of a larger development plan. If the project goes well, we may hire you for Phase 2 ($1,500 - $2,500 additional budget) to add advanced user features and automation.

Scope of Work (Phase 1)

1. WordPress Setup & Theme Customization

•Configure and customize the PlayerX theme.

• Optimize Elementor Pro layouts for a clean, fast-loading gaming experience.

• Apply custom styling (CSS/JS) for esports branding.

2. Core Website Pages & Navigation

• Homepage Design: Featured tournaments, articles, gaming news.

• Game Review Pages: SEO-optimized layout with rating system.

• Esports Tournament Section: Brackets, team standings, match highlights.

• Community Section (Basic Forums Only): Users can post & discuss topics.

3. Esports & Tournament Integration

• Embed third-party tournament platforms:

o Challonge (brackets & match tracking)

o Start.gg (Smash.gg) (event hosting)

o Twitch & YouTube (live match streaming)

• Ensure esports pages are fully functional & mobile-friendly.

4. Performance, SEO & Security

• Optimize Cloudflare caching & CDN for fast site speeds.

• Apply SEO best practices (structured data, schema markup, Rank Math/Yoast).

• Secure the site with Wordfence, NinjaFirewall, and bot protection.

5. Monetization & Affiliate Setup

• Set up basic affiliate marketing integration (Amazon, Best Buy, Steam).

• Implement sponsorship-ready ad placements (non-intrusive).

• Configure Patreon or premium content options for future growth.

Once Phase 1 is successfully completed, we will hire for Phase 2 ($1,500 - $2,500 budget) to add more advanced features:

Prior experience with gaming/esports sites (preferred)

Strong SEO, speed optimization, and security skills
