What is Proof of Skill?

Proof of Skill is a decentralized system where industry experts (Validators) assess candidates’ skills and issue verifiable Skill Credentials. Organizations can then shortlist candidates based on these credentials, ensuring hiring decisions are based on verified skills rather than unverified claims.

Qualifications and Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in Back-End Development
• Strong portfolio or GitHub showcasing expertise in Node.js, Express.js, and back-end architecture
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and database management (SQL & NoSQL)
• Deep understanding of authentication, authorization, security best practices, and performance optimization
• Experience in defining skill levels and providing constructive feedback
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide critical insights into skill evaluation

Responsibilities:
• Review and evaluate back-end assignments submitted by candidates and issue relevant proof-of-skill
• Define various back-end development skills and their respective levels
• Provide feedback on the protocol design to ensure fairness, transparency, and credibility
• Earn for all the work you put in (Estimated earnings: $1k-$2k per month for 2-3 hours a day)
