Job Title: Data Architect

Job Type: Full Time, Hybrid (Candidates should be local to SteerBridge HQ and will be expected to work from the office a minimum of three (3) days a week.)

SteerBridge is looking for a highly skilled Data Architect who thrives on building scalable, Python-powered data solutions that drive real-world impact. If you're passionate about Python, SQL, and cloud platforms, and love optimizing data pipelines, this is the role for you!

✨ What You'll Do

Develop and optimize Python-based ETL pipelines using Pandas, PySpark, and SQLAlchemy
Design and implement scalable, cloud-based data architectures in Azure, AWS, or GCP
Automate complex workflows and data services using Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
Oversee data pipeline integration with Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and cloud storage
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure clean, structured, and reliable data

What You Bring

✅ U.S. Citizen with Active Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain one)
✅ Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
✅ 7+ years of experience designing and managing large-scale data architectures
✅ Expert-level Python coding skills, including Pandas, PySpark, NumPy, and SQLAlchemy
✅ 3+ years of experience in Data Warehousing (Redshift, Databricks, BigQuery, Apache Hive)
✅ Proficiency in automation & scripting for cloud-based data environments
✅ Experience with API development using Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)

Bonus Skills (Highly Preferred!):
• Experience with Python-based ML pipelines (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Prefect
• Hands-on experience with data observability tools (Great Expectations, Monte Carlo)
