We're a dynamic creative agency seeking a talented WordPress designer and developer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from designing and building websites for the construction industry to collaborating with our in-house team to bring client visions to life.

About the Role:

Responsibilities:
• Designing and building WordPress websites from scratch using provided wireframes, copywriting, photo and video content, and clear creative direction.
• Creating responsive, fast-loading websites that highlight visual storytelling.
• Collaborating with our in-house team to bring client visions to life.
• Using plugins or custom features as needed, with flexibility in tech stack a plus.

Our Ideal Candidate:
• A strong eye for modern, bold design, including dark themes, large hero sections, big typography, motion, and construction-themed aesthetics.
• The ability to lead design direction, not just execute instructions.
• Proficiency in customizing themes or building lightweight custom themes, with ACF experience a bonus.
• Experience with service-based and/or construction industry websites a big plus.
• Understanding of how to build content-forward layouts, designing around media rather than stuffing it in after.
• SEO best practices, page speed optimization, and accessibility knowledge all nice-to-haves.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
