Developer Proficient in Airbnb, WordPress, Databases/Directories, Building Online Portals, and Reservation Systems
Terms: Developers agrees to keep my information confidential, not to disclose it to third parties and to hand over to me all my request all information and that I will retain and own all rights to the solution, service and any related deliverables.
I am seeking an experienced software developer and solution finder proficient in building multi-user databases, portals, and software testing, with expertise in HivePress themes (particularly Listings Press) and powerful search fields. The goal is to create two main services for a business directory and booking-style website:
1.Airbnb-Style Room or Social Care Services Booking, Comparison, and Reservation Site: This service will offer a platform for booking, comparing, and reserving rooms or social care services.
2. Automatic Booking Reservation, Change, or Cancellation Service: This service will be controlled using online or telephone booking with confidential, unique, one-time random codes for each reservation held online. It will allow for simple cancellations or limited changes by offering the option for the appointment to be placed on an online controlled message-based standby register.
3. Future Scalability Plan: Demonstrate a plan and options for future scalability.
4. Initial Information I hold: I can provide you with a sample database of 500 Social care suppliers and their searchable information in excel or CSV format to build the solution around.
The project will require the following key features:
• Advanced Database Search Filters: For commercial, retail, or private users, enabling them to filter their searches in a comprehensive yet user-friendly manner. Users should be able to request services in a local or national area or by speciality. They should also be able to register their own business or personal services online or by phone, with options for contact centre support for commercial clients.
• Listings Submission Form: A dedicated and intuitive form for users to submit their own listings, add images and descriptions, and populate and update their webpage on our site, similar to a hotel comparison site. The ability to make requests to the service provider or update our database remotely when rooms or particular services are full or unavailable, and to offer standby options to a database list of standby users.
The ideal freelancer for this project will have a strong portfolio of building business directories, Airbnb-type comparison sites, and customised large databases. Experience with WordPress projects, particularly using SQL or other suitable databases, and HivePress themes (Listing Press and Rental Press) is essential. A keen understanding of corporate and professional design aesthetics is also required.
Your ability to create a clean, modern, yet corporately styled interface will be key to the success of this project. Additionally, knowledge of AI solutions will be prioritised.
