Job Description

Responsibilities

• The candidate will be a developer in an Agile team to develop and support a Cash Flow Forecasting (CFF) application
• This work includes designing the database, developing Python code, developing user Interfaces, developing SQL reports, and more
• The work pace will be fast and dynamic
• Interact with the finance team and Peoplesoft implementation team to collect the detailed requirements
• Design, develop, and support software solutions for the given requirements
• Ensure new code and existing code updates meet standard technology development practices
• Must meet automated testing requirements
• Work with the finance team and other developers to facilitate the reconciliation
• Help customers understand the result and properly use the application
• Assist in the operational execution of software solutions to assist with the monitoring and control of application

Requirements

• The successful candidate must be driven, learn quickly, be adaptive, and have strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field and
• Minimum of 2+ years of development experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of (Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience) Python development
• Pandas, NumPy, and other popular Python libraries
• Testing frameworks, including PyTest
• SQL
• Experience with Linux OS is a must
• Containerization experience using Docker is a must
• SDLC, CI/CD Processes
• Must have experience using git for basic commands
• UI Development experience with Angular or React is a must, but prior experience with Solara would be ideal
• Jira
• Java (must have a basic understanding)
• Excel
• IDEs such as IntelliJ
