We are seeking an experienced PHP and WordPress Developer to restore and stabilize the NC Museum of Natural Sciences website. The ideal candidate will diagnose issues, restore access, and provide short-term maintenance recommendations to ensure smooth operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Restore website access and functionality, particularly the WordPress login.
• Diagnose and repair issues affecting static page edits.
• Identify and fix problematic custom PHP code and outdated plugins.
• Support content management with minor updates for improved usability.
• Document repairs and provide maintenance recommendations for the team.
Required Skills:
• Extensive experience with PHP Development (5+ years)
• Proficiency in WordPress Development (5+ years)
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing WordPress login issues (5+ years)
• Ability to restore administrative and content management access (5+ years)
• Familiarity with legacy configurations and website stability enhancements (5+ years)
