DevOps Architect

As a DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll help streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best—create. You’ll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have:  
• 2+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments using technologies like Terraform or Terragrunt
• 2+ years of experience with OOP scripting or programming languages
• Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
• Experience hosting applications on commercial cloud providers
• Experience with containerization and container orchestration platforms and tools
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  
• Experience hosting applications on commercial cloud providers or private clouds including AWS, Azure, Oracle, or bare metal
• Experience configuring clouds, commercial or private cloud appliances
• Experience with architecting and automating workflows using Python, bash, or equivalent

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
