Senior Java Developer

The Application Modernization Practice supports all business units within various organizations. We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Java Developer to collaborate on modernization projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement robust Java code following new architecture guidelines.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues within the Java system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Maintain and optimize Gen AI applications facilitating migration processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in Java development (5+ years).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
• Deep understanding of enterprise application architecture patterns.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in distributed teams with US customers.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with client teams.

Desirable Skills:
• Experience with large-scale system migrations and modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of low-level programming languages.
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts.
• Prior experience working in the banking or financial services industry.
• Understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques in cloud environments.
