About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced .NET Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a critical defense system. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining secure, scalable applications that meet the needs of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Personnel & Readiness (OSD P&R).
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in fast-paced, high-impact environments and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of .NET development principles and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop software applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet project goals
• Stay up-to-date with emerging .NET technologies and industry best practices
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development methodologies to manage development tasks and sprints
• Meet software security and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and DoD standards
Requirements and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
• Junior Level: 2+ years of experience
• Mid-Level: 5+ years of experience
• Active Security+ certification or comparable to comply with DoD Cyber Workforce requirements
• Hands-on experience with .NET development in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Visual Studio
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and stored procedures
• Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git
• Experience with cloud-based development, preferably in AWS GovCloud
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevSecOps best practices
• Understanding of secure coding practices and ability to implement STIGs for security compliance
