Job Description

Project Overview:
We are developing a cutting-edge financial planning application. Our nearly complete, mobile-first SaaS app offers users a highly customizable view of their projected savings and the likelihood of achieving their financial goals. With 95% of our wireframes completed in Figma by our talented UX/UI team, we’re looking to enhance our Django app with more sophisticated calculations and optimize the time it takes to run those calculations.

Required Availability:

Responsibilities:
Back-end Development: Optimize and enhance our existing Django application.
Database Management: Maintain secure and efficient databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
Cloud & Deployment: Collaborate on deployment strategies using containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) on AWS.
Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous security protocols to safeguard sensitive financial information.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product team members, tech leaders, and app developers to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose, debug, and resolve technical issues swiftly while maintaining a high standard of code quality.
Testing: Write unit tests for our financial model.
Code Versioning: Work with GitHub to update versions of your code as well as run tests using GitHub actions.
