Job Description
We are seeking a skilled, creative, and experienced WordPress Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites with a strong focus on performance, usability, and SEO best practices. This role requires proficiency in front-end and back-end development, including theme and plugin customization, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company website, ensuring it is up-to-date, secure, and optimized for SEO and performance.
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
- Create responsive and visually appealing web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify areas for improvement, including user experience, speed, and accessibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently.
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools as needed.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with team members to bring creative concepts to life.
- Manage website updates, backups, and server configurations.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development/customization.
- Familiarity with website optimization, caching, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
- Experience in UI/UX design principles.
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
Candidates with experience using Google Analytics - with a focus on creating custom dashboards and deriving data-driven insights - is preferred.
