Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
• Implement and manage database structures, queries, migrations, and seeders with PostgreSQL
• Monitor and optimize application performance using New Relic
• Ensure secure and efficient AWS EC2 deployments via SSH and SCP
• Use GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code reviews
• Focus on logging, error handling, and building scalable APIs that adhere to best practices
• Collaborate with the team to provide out-of-the-box solutions to complex backend challenges, with an emphasis on security and performance
• Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve backend issues effectively and efficiently

Requirements

• We are seeking an expert Node.js developer with TypeScript proficiency to build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Backend REST APIs
• This role is for a seasoned professional with a strong background in server-side development, database management, and API security
• We need a developer with deep expertise, the ability to think critically, and a security-first mindset
