Fix GPT API Content Generation & Admin Panel Save Issues in WordPress Plugin

Job Description:
We need an experienced WordPress developer to debug and improve a custom plugin that fetches data from the Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) API, processes it, and then uses OpenAI’s GPT API to generate content for our website. Currently, the plugin is failing to generate and display GPT-generated content, and admin panel settings (such as the "Custom Image Generation Prompt") are not saving correctly.
Key Issues to Fix:
GPT API Content Generation Failure
Ensure API requests retrieve data correctly from FRED and send a properly formatted request to OpenAI’s GPT API.
Debug server-side PHP errors and client-side JavaScript issues causing failures.
Validate API responses and handle errors properly.
WordPress Admin Panel Settings Not Saving
The “Custom Image Generation Prompt” field does not save user input.
Identify and fix WordPress settings storage issues in the plugin.
AJAX Request Debugging
Fix 500 (Internal Server Error) and 400 (Bad Request) responses from admin-ajax.php.
Verify if nonce verification, request formatting, or permission issues are causing failures.
Debugging & Testing Expectations
Provide detailed debugging logs and reports on identified issues and fixes.
Ensure plugin compatibility with latest WordPress version and PHP 8+.
Test in a staging environment before deployment.
Ideal Candidate Should Have:
✅ Strong experience in WordPress plugin development (custom plugins)
✅ Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and WordPress hooks/actions

✅ Ability to debug server-side and client-side errors
