Overview

Avian BPO & IT is seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Node.js Developer to contribute to an innovative ElectronJS project. This role is perfect for a developer who is passionate about building cross-platform desktop applications and enjoys working in a dynamic, agile environment. As a key contributor, you’ll collaborate with our product and design teams to create robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities
• Develop & Maintain: Design, develop, and maintain ElectronJS desktop applications using Node.js.
• Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and fellow developers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Integration: Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality.
• Testing & Debugging: Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
• Optimization: Monitor and optimize application performance, resolving any technical issues as they arise.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and project features.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in Node.js, ElectronJS, and desktop application development.

Requirements
• Technical Proficiency:Strong experience in Node.js and JavaScript.
• Proven expertise in ElectronJS for developing cross-platform desktop applications.
• Front-End Skills: Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue) is a plus.
• API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Version Control: Proficient in Git and agile development practices.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Work Ethic: Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work independently in a freelance capacity.

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience working on ElectronJS projects or similar desktop applications.
• Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with cross-platform compatibility issues and solutions.
