Freelance Specialist in SEO and WordPress Content Management
(Skills in Canva visuals and PowerPoint are a plus)
We are looking for an independent professional to support our company in developing and implementing a successful SEO strategy while ensuring efficient technical management of our WordPress site. If you are passionate about digital, results-oriented, and have a mastery of the intricacies of natural referencing, this opportunity is for you!
Main Responsibilities
1. SEO Strategy
Research and Analysis:
Conduct an in-depth study of keywords relevant to our themes.
Analyze competitors to identify strategic positioning opportunities.
Planning and Prioritization:
Develop a monthly strategic plan with prioritized recommendations.
Content Creation and Optimization:
Write or optimize 2 to 4 articles/pages per month to improve SEO.
Optimize titles, meta descriptions, alt tags, and other key elements.
Technical Optimizations:
Integrate content directly into WordPress.
Improve internal and external linking to enhance navigation and increase site authority.
2. WordPress Management for SEO
Plugins and Performance:
Install, configure, and maintain SEO plugins (Yoast, RankMath, etc.).
Optimize site speed and ensure mobile compatibility.
Set up SEO tracking tools and analyze performance (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.).
Media Management and Redirections:
Compress images, add alt tags, and configure 301 redirects.
Identify and fix technical errors (404 errors, broken links, etc.).
Structural Improvements:
Adjust site architecture, menus, and URLs for optimal SEO.
Verify theme and plugin compatibility with SEO standards.
Visual Cohesion and Content:
Ensure visual attractiveness and content consistency with the brand image.
Required Skills
Technical Expertise:
Strong proficiency in on-page and off-page SEO.
Excellent knowledge of WordPress and SEO-related plugins.
Ability to handle complex SEO audits and technical optimizations.
Content Creation:
Skilled in writing and optimizing engaging and relevant content.
Knowledge of digital storytelling principles and UX.
Visual Skills (a plus):
Proficiency in Canva for creating attractive visuals for the web.
Ability to create impactful PowerPoint presentations to support campaigns or analyses.
Analytical Mindset:
Ability to interpret SEO data and provide tailored recommendations.
Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
Ideal Profile
Native-level proficiency in French with bilingual fluency in English (written required).
Minimum 2 years of experience in SEO and WordPress management.
Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and a desire to contribute to an ambitious digital strategy.
