Project Overview:
We are seeking a skilled freelance web designer with experience in WordPress to redesign and launch a new website. The new site will clearly communicate brand values and provide a strong foundation for future growth. This includes creating a fresh site design, migrating from the existing domain, and ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.
Scope of Work:
-Develop a WordPress website based on the provided brand guidelines and positioning.
-Create a site map aligned with the intended structure (Home, About, Services, Blog, Contact, etc.).
-Design mockups for each page before development.
-Implement mobile-optimized and responsive design principles.
-Conduct QA testing to ensure functionality across browsers (mobile optimized).
Integrate RingCentral (3rd-party) chatbot, pending feasibility.
Workflow & Process:
-To streamline the process, our team is available to review, provide feedback, and give approvals as needed.
-We anticipate a weekly 30 min meeting with developers to align on progress and next steps.
Assets to be Provided:
-Media (images/videos) from the client, with potential sourcing for additional imagery.
-Brand Expression document (background, ethos, and positioning).
-Brand Visual Identity Kit (logos, color palette, typography, and use cases).
-Site copy for all pages.
Ideal Candidate:
-Proven experience designing and developing WordPress websites.
-Strong UI/UX skills with experience in responsive design.
-Knowledge of SEO best practices and content structuring.
-Experience with site migration and domain transfers.
-Ability to implement 3rd-party integrations (e.g., RingCentral).
-Excellent communication and ability to meet deadlines.
Timeline:
-4 weeks (6 weeks max).
