Freelance WordPress Web Designer – Mental Health Provider Website (Remote/Gig)

We're a small but growing mental health and addiction treatment provider in Northeastern Pennsylvania, looking for a freelance web designer to give our WordPress site a clean refresh. This is a gig-based opportunity—either flat rate or hourly, based on experience and local market value.

Scope of Work:
• Apply updates and redesign using an existing WordPress template
• Integrate provided media and copy (no content creation required)
• Properly format all media for speed and visual balance
• Ensure the design reflects a professional, compassionate, and modern brand
• Create a dedicated video/media content section for ongoing updates
• Implement clean UI/UX best practices for referrals and calls to action (primary goal: 1-800 number & inquiry engagement)

We Provide:
• The selected WordPress template
• Fully written copy
• All high-resolution images and branded media
• SEO keywords and metadata
• Clear direction and communication with a small internal team

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Proven experience with WordPress websites, especially in health, wellness, or nonprofit sectors
• Familiarity with basic SEO and responsive design
• A sense of clean aesthetics and functional layout
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
• Experience formatting content and media for fast load times
• (Bonus) Comfort with integrating video content and setting up CMS-friendly media libraries

This is a tight-budget project, but we’re looking to build a relationship with a freelancer who understands our mission and may be open to ongoing work as we grow.

Timeline:
• Estimated 4 weeks from start to finish
• Flexible start date, but we're aiming for completion by late April
