Wonqy Media is a fast-growing digital product studio specializing in eCommerce and custom web development. We’re currently building innovative Shopify apps and exploring the power of AI to speed up development and create smarter experiences. We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who is not only skilled in traditional stacks like React, Node.js, and Python, but also enthusiastic about working with AI technologies.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps (public/private).
• Build performant, responsive UIs using React.js, Next.js, and Remix.
• Create and manage backend services using Node.js and Python.
• Work on AI-powered features, including chatbots, recommendation engines, and data automations.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, LangChain, etc.) to boost development speed and code quality.
• Integrate APIs, webhooks, and third-party services.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and fellow developers.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code with proper documentation.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of full stack development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Shopify app development.
• Solid foundation in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Backend expertise in Node.js and Python.
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs, Polaris design system, and Liquid templates.
• Comfortable working with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience working with or integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Google PaLM, etc.).
• Familiarity with AI tools to assist in rapid prototyping and smart development.
• Good understanding of performance optimization, security, and best practices.

Bonus Points For:
• Experience building AI chatbots using NLP libraries or platforms like OpenAI, Rasa, Dialogflow, etc.
• Knowledge of LangChain, vector databases, or embedding models.
• Previous work on published Shopify apps.
• Understanding of cloud deployments (AWS, Vercel, etc.).
