TransSIGHT is an industry leader in transit technology development, integration, and program management focusing on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects. Our consulting services cover a wide range of transportation solutions including ATIS, Tolling, Data Analytics, and Mobility on Demand. Role Description
TransSIGHT is looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Full Stack Engineer to join our team. We are looking for someone who is curious about technology, loves solving important business and technology problems, and isn't afraid of challenging the status quo. You'll be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. This role is responsible for developing and owning the end-to-end solution and working closely with other team members across the company including product managers, UI/UX architects, software engineers, QA and delivery leads.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of proven experience in full-stack development with proficiency in both frontend and backend development
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle), web servers (e.g. Apache, Nginx, IIS, Weblogic), and UI/UX design
• Excellent working knowledge of Public cloud (AWS, Azure) and ability to program and deploy applications to AWS and Azure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Degree in Computer Science, or relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Mobile development experience is a big plus
• Knowledge of security-relevant topics (OWASP, oauth2, identity management, etc.)
