Job Description

ICP DAS USA is a small business that has been in business for over 20 years. Our headquarters is in Houston TX. We manufacture our equipment in Taiwan and sell and support industrial automation equipment for control and monitoring systems. We talk to customers by phone, email and web chat and help them with quotes, orders, status updates and support. We help machine builders, engineering firms, systems integrators and R&D teams with control and monitoring solutions.

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to work at our office in Houston, TX. We are looking for someone proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript that has experience working with custom PHP and WordPress websites. We have an existing custom PHP website and are transitioning over to a new WordPress and PHP website that is in development. We are looking to fill this position ASAP.

Tasks
• Add products, services and updates to our website as needed
• Manage the website's front end and back end including database and server integration
• Perform hands-on development, testing, debugging, and ongoing maintenance of new and existing code
• Ensure high website performance and availability
• Help design and create functional plugins and integrate with third-party services if necessary
• Provide suggestions for website improvements
• Add to our website documentation
• Work with team to develop new website

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
• 2+ years Hands-on experience with WordPress technologies
• At least 3+ years of experience working as a Full-Stack Developer
• Strong hands-on expertise in PHP back-end development
• Good understanding of Front-End languages, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and their libraries
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Experience with designing and editing in Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Experience working with debugging tools
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and keep up with changing technology
• Detail-oriented and proactive mindset
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to collaborate with others

This is a full-time, in-house position at our office in Houston, Texas. Pay range is $55K-$65K per year. The schedule is Mondaty through Friday. We prefer at least 3 years experience.
