We are seeking a remote Spring Boot Developer to join our team in designing and developing MeF components using Spring Framework, JAX-RS, SOAP/JMS Web Services, JPA/Hibernate, Distributed Transaction Management, AWS EKS and Redhat OpenShift. The successful candidate will perform unit testing and maintain Java components as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop Java/JEE components using JAX-RS and Spring Boot.
• Perform unit and development level integration testing as required.
• Maintain Java components based on company testing, customer testing, and production issues.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Seven years of experience with Java/JEE development, including Spring REST, JAX-RS and Spring Boot.
• Five years of experience working with AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Four years of experience working with Red Hat OpenShift Container platform.
• Experience developing automated unit tests with JUnit.
• Proficiency with Rational Software Architect, Eclipse, Spring Tool Suite, and JBoss studio.
• Experience with IBM EWM, Rational Team Concert, and GitHub.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Kubernetes/Docker Administration experience.
• Red Hat OpenShift administration experience.
