We're hiring for a short-term task focused on implementing basic technical SEO improvements and static page creation for an early-stage edtech platform: TheHomework AI.

You’ll be responsible for executing the following items:

Technical SEO Tasks:

- Add and configure a working robots.txt file (including reference to the sitemap)

- Create and link a sitemap.xml file listing all core pages

- Add link rel="canonical" tags to main pages:

/home, /math, /science, /history, /computer-science

- Add descriptive alt text to key images (following provided audit notes)

- Convert JPG/PNG images to WebP for performance optimization

Static Page Creation:

Create basic static pages:

- About Us, Contact Us, Privacy Policy, FAQ

(Initial content will be provided)

Footer Improvements:

Add missing navigation links: Home, Math, Science, etc.

Add placeholder social media icons (Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter)

Add a clear call-to-action: “Try for Free” or “Start Solving Now”

Ensure mobile responsiveness of the footer

Able to deliver in 2–4 days
