Job Description: Senior Software Engineer - Java Springboot Developer
This role involves application development using Java/Springboot. The ideal candidate will have experience with full-time or hybrid roles in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities:
• Implement and optimize algorithms and data structures for improved application performance.
• Understand and implement logging, metrics, and tracing for application monitoring and optimization.
• Analyze production errors to identify and resolve issues.
Required Skills:
• 8 years of experience in Java J2ee.
• Strong skills in Java 8 and related frameworks (Spring, spring boot, microservices, hibernate).
• Solid knowledge of database management systems (Oracle or postgreSQL).
• Ability to write scripts in Python or Java and SQL queries.
• Production support experience and knowledge of logging frameworks.
• Design and implementation of REST APIs.
• Understanding of CI/CD best practices and build pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS EKS and/or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with integration architecture concepts and patterns.
• Integration with Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDKs, and legacy applications.
