Job Description
Kforce has a client in Sunrise, FL that is seeking a JavaScript Engineer with deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js to build and optimize large-scale applications. This role is front-end focused, with significant tooling in Node.js.
Responsibilities:
• The JavaScript Engineer will develop and maintain scalable applications using React.js, Redux, and Node.js
• Work with standard Web APIs to enhance performance and user experience
• Implement testing best practices using Jest or Vitest
• Optimize application performance and ensure best practices in React and Node.js
• The JavaScript Engineer will utilize GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation
• Strong experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Expertise in React.js, Redux, and Web APIs
• Passion for testing and performance optimization
• Experience with GitHub Actions for workflow automation
• Knowledge of OpenTelemetry and observability best practices (a plus)
• Experience with AWS EKS or similar cloud platforms (a plus)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
