Job Description

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis
• You will work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and contribute to the overall success of our projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand project specifications
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure software quality
• Utilize tools such as TestNG for automated testing processes
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects to provide insights for improvement
• Work with MySQL databases to validate data integrity and accuracy
• Test web services and APIs using JSON formats to ensure proper functionality
• Participate in CI/CD processes to streamline deployment and testing workflows
• Maintain version control using SVN for tracking changes in test scripts and documentation

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python for scripting automated tests
• Experience with performance testing methodologies and tools
• Strong understanding of requirements gathering processes
• Familiarity with web services testing concepts and tools
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and methodologies
