Job Description
BREAKPOINT LABS IS SEEKING A JUNIOR PYTHON DEVELOPER TO JOIN OUR TEAM. As a junior python developer, you will be responsible for assisting senior developers in the design, development, and deployment of web applications. You will also be expected to troubleshoot software issues, develop solutions using Docker, and maintain technical documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Assist senior developers in designing, developing, and deploying web applications
• Troubleshoot software issues and develop solutions using Docker
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping
Required Skills:
• 3 years of experience in software development and deployment
• 1 year of experience writing applications with Python
• Ability to obtain Security+ Continuing Education (CE) within the first 90 days of employment
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, Django, PostgreSQL, or Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with Docker, Ansible, or Gitlab
• Strong Linux administration and development experience
• Proficiency in writing automated tests
• Experience working in a DoD environment and implementing access controls
