Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Laravel Developer to help redesign and rebuild our existing website into a fully functional eyewear e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building e-commerce websites, with a focus on creating a seamless user experience, integrating payment gateways, and implementing modern design trends.
Responsibilities:
Website Redesign: Revamp the current site design to create a visually appealing, user-friendly, and mobile-responsive eyewear e-commerce website.
E-Commerce Functionality: Implement essential e-commerce features such as:
Product catalog (with product filtering and search)
Shopping cart and checkout process
Payment gateway integration (PayPal, Stripe, etc.)
User authentication (sign-in, registration, and password management)
Order management system (for admins and customers)
Inventory management
Reviews and ratings for products
Integration with Third-party APIs: Integrate necessary third-party services (payment processors, shipping providers, etc.).
SEO Optimization: Ensure the website is optimized for search engines (SEO-friendly URLs, metadata, etc.).
Security: Implement necessary security measures to protect user data and financial transactions.
Testing & Debugging: Test the website for functionality, compatibility, and performance across different devices and browsers.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven Experience: Strong experience with Laravel and PHP-based development.
E-Commerce Development: Experience building or redesigning e-commerce websites, particularly in the eyewear or fashion industry is a plus.
Front-End Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end libraries (Vue.js, React, etc.).
Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of MySQL or other relational databases.
Payment Gateway Integration: Experience integrating various payment gateways (PayPal, Stripe, etc.).
Version Control: Experience using Git for version control.
UI/UX Design: Ability to work closely with design teams (or provide design solutions) to ensure the site looks modern and professional.
SEO & Performance Optimization: Experience with optimizing websites for search engines and page speed.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom-built solutions.
Knowledge of AWS or other cloud hosting services for deployment.
Experience with mobile-first design and ensuring cross-device compatibility.
