Magento eCommerce Administrator Description
Our client, an online retailer of industrial and building products, is seeking a Magento eCommerce Administrator to add to their team. This role involves handling content updates, enhancing the user experience, troubleshooting website issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging product content. The ideal candidate will have experience managing various Magento product types (grouped, configurable, bundled, simple…), setting up product attributes and data fields, and ensuring seamless product listings. Success requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to improving the online shopping experience. Magento eCommerce Administrator Responsibilities
• Manage and update content for a Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce website
• Ensure product pages are accurate, engaging, and optimized for the user experience
• Import images, product descriptions, and supporting documentation
• Maintain pricing, inventory updates, and cart rules for promotions
• Set up and manage various Magento product types (grouped, configurable, bundled, simple)
• Accurately configure product attributes and data fields for seamless listings
• Create, manipulate, and manage Excel/flat files for bulk data export and import in Magento
• Monitor customer feedback and implement website improvements
• Develop and execute content enhancements to boost customer satisfaction and sales
• Support the ongoing addition of new vendors, products, & line extensions
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues related to content, pricing, inventory, and UX
• Assist sales and customer service teams with website-related inquiries and fixes
Magento eCommerce Administrator Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in eCommerce website management is required
• Magento experience with product setup, attributes, and category page management is required
• Proficiency in bulk data imports/exports using Excel and flat files is required
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for product content is required
