SUMMARY
TriStar Digital Thread Solutions is looking to hire a skilled Web/WordPress Developer and graphic designer and implement attractive and functional websites to complement our primary property, TriStar.com. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates. You will also design logos, letterhead, forms and more.
To be a successful Web/Wordpress Developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Primary role will be working with the Director of Marketing to design and build accompanying websites front-end & content and creating the website architecture.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Installing & maintaining WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Ensure brand messages are consistent.
• Occasionally produce emails promoting new blogs/posts, etc.
• Responsible for uploading new content provided by engineering stakeholders.
• Utilize our proprietary CRM system for maximizing marketing activities.
SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
• Associates Required - BA/BS degree preferred.
• At least 3 years WordPress/CMS & Front-End Development - HTML5/CSS3/skill set required.
• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer. (Portfolio / samples required)
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• SEO experience is a big plus. (Google Tag Manager, Analytics, Schema Markup and Rich Snippets, etc.)
• Skilled in Outlook, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Suite, Avada Theme Builder.
• Comfortable developing digital and occasional print marketing in Photoshop & Illustrator.
• Ability to quickly understand proper mapping to TriStar solutions.
• Comfortable working with a new CRM system occasionally.
• Manufacturing, CAD, and PLM knowledge is a plus but not required.
