The ideal candidate will possess 6+ years of EntityFramework and C# experience, 6+ years of Telerik expertise, and 6+ years as a MS SQL developer.
Required Skills/Years of Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience with EntityFramework and C#
• 6+ years of experience with Telerik
• 6+ years of experience as a MS SQL developer
• 6+ years of experience with JavaScript
• 3+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core MVC
• 3+ years of experience with jQuery and Ajax
• 2+ years of experience with Azure Devops, Git, and Visual Studio 2019 and above

The District of Columbia’s Metropolitan Police Department (MDP) is seeking a .NET Developer to support software development tasks for the data transparency project. The ideal candidate will possess 6+ years of EntityFramework and C# experience, 6+ years of Telerik expertise, and 6+ years as a MS SQL developer.
This role will Design and develop user interfaces to internet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout the development life cycle.
The .NET Developer will be tasked to:
• Support software development tasks for the data transparency project
• Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements
• Envision system features and functionality
• Determine design methodologies and tool sets
• Complete programming using languages and software products
• Design and conduct tests
• Integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting
• Study and establish connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers
• Complete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities
• Conduct troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments
• Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools
• Update job knowledge by researching new internet and development technologies and software products
• Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
• Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Support and develop project team by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities
• Work with ASP.NET Core MVC
• Utilize Entity Framework and C#
