Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer with experience in backend development, REST services, and microservice architecture. The ideal candidate will have expertise in JavaScript, Node.js frameworks such as Hapi.js, Express, or Fastify, and be comfortable working with SaaS applications. The role involves developing and deploying scalable applications, writing unit tests, and contributing to DevOps processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, configure, and deploy applications using Node.js frameworks like Hapi.js, Express, or Fastify.
• Design and implement REST services and microservice architectures.
• Ensure high-quality code by writing unit tests using Jest.
• Work with UNIX shell scripting for automation and development tasks.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
• Maintain and enhance existing SaaS applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in backend services.
Required Qualifications:
• Experience programming in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience in backend development, REST services, and microservice architecture.
• Experience with SaaS application development.
• Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting.
• Experience writing tests in Jest.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Node.js streams.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Edge Akamai (Good to have).
• Experience with Rust (Good to have).
