Job Description:
Key Responsibilities will include:
• Develop and design cloud strategies aligned with business objectives, considering factors such as cost, performance, scalability, and security.
• Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads.
• Design and document comprehensive cloud architectures, including network diagrams, infrastructure components, and application integration.
• Define Migration strategy to move applications to the OCI and develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
• Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instances, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
• Design the Cloud network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets.
• Design the HA / DR strategies.
• Experience in optimizing OCI infrastructure resources, such as compute instances, storage, networking, and databases, to meet application requirements.
• Design & validate OCI solutions meet industry-standard security and compliance requirements with robust security controls, encryption, and access management measures.
• Work closely with development teams, DevOps engineers, and IT operations to ensure smooth integration and delivery of cloud-based solutions.
Required Experience:
Practice/Technical Director provides technology and industry leadership on large and/or more complex IT engagements. Technical Director leads enterprise wide solution engagements for high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget. Develops an integrated and robust solution based on customer needs combining GOTS, COTS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and third party components. Provides subject matter experience to assist customer through difficult business decisions. Designs, configures and implements all aspects of the full stack architecture delivering innovative solutions by combining Oracle best practices, knowledge in IT product offerings, and business acumen. Recommends enhancements to meet complex customer needs.
