Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PHP Developer at Altrone's Mumbai location. We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality web applications.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated PHP Developer to develop and maintain dynamic web applications, APIs, and backend systems. The ideal candidate has experience with modern PHP frameworks, database management, and front-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, test, and maintain PHP-based web applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Develop and maintain APIs for seamless data exchange between systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Ensure security, data protection, and compliance with web standards.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a PHP Developer.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and at least one PHP framework (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc.).
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Understanding of MVC architecture and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
