As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional solutions, we are seeking a Mid-level QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong QA automation mindset, a passion for learning, and a commitment to ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Your Role And Responsibilities
As a QA Automation Engineer for IBM Manta Lineage, you will:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our product.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and define test strategies.
• Work within our CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Jenkins to integrate automated tests seamlessly into the development process.
• Utilize GitHub for source code management and contribute to maintaining a robust and organized test suite.
• Apply your QA expertise to identify gaps in test coverage and implement solutions to improve product quality.
• Quickly adapt to new tools and technologies, demonstrating a strong ability to learn object-oriented programming languages such as Python or similar.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
• Solid experience in QA automation with a focus on delivering high-quality software.
• Proficiency in developing automated tests using object-oriented programming languages.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems, preferably Jenkins, for automating test workflows.
• Experience with test case management tools, such as TestRail, to maintain test documentation.
• Understanding of source code management tools like GitHub.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts and test strategies effectively.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), or relevant background
• Experience (or willingness) to work in a corporate software development environment
• Experience with Python and pytest for test automation.
• Knowledge of data pipelines or data flow processes.
• Previous experience working in Agile development environments.
• Proactive attitude and a passion for learning new technologies and tools.
