React and Node.js Expert Needed for Fixing SEO Redirection and Canonical Tag Issues

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced React and Node.js developer with expertise in SEO to help us resolve critical issues affecting our website’s search engine performance. The main problems involve canonical tag misinterpretation and invisible redirection issues that are preventing some of our pages from being properly indexed by Google.
Key Issues:
1.Canonical Tag Misinterpretation:
o Some pages, such as those for the "Building Information Modeling (BIM) Market" report, have canonical tags correctly set in the page source.
o Despite this, Google is ignoring the canonical tags and pointing to alternative URLs.
2. Invisible Redirections Detected by Crawlers:
o Certain pages are not being indexed by Google because they are detected as redirects.
o No visible redirections occur when visiting these pages directly.
o Possible causes include:
Server-side redirects.
Meta refresh tags.
JavaScript-based redirection.
Canonical tags pointing to different URLs.
Scope of Work:
• Analyze and debug the website to identify the root cause of the redirection and canonical tag issues.
• Fix server-side and client-side configurations that might be causing these problems.
• Ensure the canonical tags are properly set and interpreted by Google.
• Test and verify the changes to ensure pages are indexed correctly.
• Provide recommendations for preventing similar SEO issues in the future.
Requirements:
• Strong expertise in React.js and Node.js development.
• Proven experience in resolving SEO-related technical issues, especially those involving canonical tags and redirection.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console and understanding of how search engines crawl and index websites.
• Knowledge of server-side configurations (e.g., Nginx, Apache) and their impact on SEO.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Deliverables:
• Resolved canonical tag issues with Google indexing the correct URLs.
• Resolved redirection issues ensuring pages are no longer detected as redirects.
• A detailed report of the fixes applied and results of testing.
Additional Information:

• Experience with SEO tools and audits (e.g., Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or SEMrush) is a plus.
