And, they must be local to NYC/NJ as they will have to interview 1.5 hours in-person with hiring manager at SMBC's office in mid-town, Manhattan. Again, candidates must work currently at an investment bank, hedge fund, asset manager, investment manager, prop trading company; that is working in the capital markets industry. Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level ReactJS UI Developer with over 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong expertise in front-end development and a passion for creating outstanding user experiences. Key: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to develop and enhance user-facing features. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and SASS. Build and optimize UI components leveraging frameworks and libraries such as React, Redux, Saga, and styled-components . Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability. Preferred Skills: Experience with backend development is a plus, though not mandatory . Java Server side is a plus Financial knowledge is advantageous but not required.
