Job Description
We are looking for a professional and experienced WordPress & Shopify development agency to collaborate with us on building and maintaining high-quality websites. The agency will be working mostly to serve clients based in the United Kingdom, so will need to be available during these time zones.
The ideal agency will have a proven track record of delivering responsive, secure, and aesthetically pleasing WordPress and Shopify websites tailored to client needs. Please note that we need you to be able to build and optimize on both platforms. This is a long-term partnership opportunity for an agency that can deliver excellence consistently.
This is an ad hoc, task-based engagement. The agency will be compensated based on the completion of specific client tasks or projects. Each task or project will have an agreed-upon scope and rate before work begins. Payments will be processed upon successful completion, submission of Upwork time tracking report, and client approval of the work. Please do not apply if this does not work for your agency.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop responsive WordPress websites tailored to specific requirements.
• Design and develop Shopify websites tailored to specific requirements.
• Customise themes and plugins to enhance website functionality.
• Optimise websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and support.
• Ensure websites are secure, including regular backups and updates.
• Collaborate closely with our team to ensure all projects meet our standards and deadlines.
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in WordPress and Shopify website development.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of WordPress and Shopify projects.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Liquid.
• Ability to customise and develop themes and plugins.
• Experience with SEO best practices and website optimisation.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with the latest web design trends and technologies.
