Seeking several top-notch content writers who are well-versed on ancient and classical history topics for remote contract position at digital magazine. We prefer to hire students pursuing a masters in Classics, History, Philosophy or the like. We are also happy to hire PhDs or adults who have completed degrees in any of these fields. However, those without the above-mentioned degrees are still encouraged to apply.

Applicants should be interested and informed and interested in ancient history, particularly Greek, Roman, and Egyptian history, and be able to write compelling copy on the topics. Job requirements are to submit 3 or 4 1,600-word posts per week. Posts must use SEO best practices. Writer should have a degree or be pursuing a degree in history, art history, philosophy, or another relevant subject.

Pay is per article.

Novice writers are paid $40/article. After your first five successful articles, you will be considered an Associate Writer and will be paid $50/article. Writers who successfully write more than 20 articles will be promoted to Senior Writer and will be paid $60/article.

Writers will be asked to complete a bio and will be given credit for each article they write.
