HOW A RUBY DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
• Manage the interchange of data between server and users.
• Maintain server-side logic, definition and maintenance of central database
• Ensure application responsiveness for front end users
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
• Experience: 8+ years of related experience
• Technical skills:
• Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Experience developing on a back end web application framework like Rails and Java
• Documented Ruby Experience
• Anticipating and effectively reacting to engineering, product and customer issues
• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
• Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks
• implement the product's lifecycle:
Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance
• Documented experience with SQL and PL/SQL and familiarity with Oracle database technologies.
• Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Cloud Formation, etc.)
• Experience with scripting languages (Shell, Perl, and Python).
• Experience with SysOPs/Dev Ops.
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Location: Chantilly, VA (On Custoemr Site)
• This position can also be Part-Time (24 to 32 hours)

The likely salary range for this position is $152,737 - $206,645. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
