Job Description
Mitchell Stores is seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails software engineer to join our team. As a senior-level full-stack developer, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing complex software systems.
Our ideal candidate has a strong background in Ruby and Rails, as well as experience with SQL databases, preferably Postgres. They should also be proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and familiar with testing frameworks like RSpec.
Some of the key responsibilities of this position include:
• Developing and testing features for our ecommerce platform and internal applications built on Ruby and Rails
• Collaborating with the development team to identify new development priorities and improve existing systems
• Contributing to the company's goal of being the best specialty store in the world through innovative use of technology
