Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Telecom Software Developer with Clearance to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain voice media gateways that integrate with telephony infrastructure. You will also work independently developing and testing servers, monitoring server performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing systems for scalability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Designing and implementing web applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Integrating telephony systems with voice media gateways and associated service modules.
• Managing and configuring Linux servers for hosting applications, ensuring performance, stability, and security.
Requirements:
• Strong experience with Ruby programming and understanding of the Ruby on Rails framework.
• Advanced knowledge of telephony systems and Linux server management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience integrating telephony systems with web applications.
• Knowledge of security best practices for telephony, server administration, and web applications.
• Some experience with implementation on Sponsor's new unclassified network LAN infrastructure.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position 50%, move/traverse within and between buildings and offices, and position self to maintain equipment and cabling.
