What You Will Do :
Guidehouse is seeking a skilled .NET developer to join our team and contribute to the development of software using the .NET framework. In this role, you will be responsible for creating applications from the ground up, configuring existing systems, and providing user support. To excel in this position, you must possess the ability to write functional code and have a keen eye for identifying and resolving defects. Collaboration and effective communication are essential, as you will be working closely with internal and client teams. Your primary objective will be to collaborate with our internal teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in requirements gathering and analysis.
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot/debug, and maintain software in conformance to standards and industry best practices.
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
• Collaborate within an Agile development team.
What You Will Need : •
• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
• Bachelor's Degree
• Five (5) years or more of .NET development experience.
• Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET), JavaScript, AJAX, and HTML5/CSS3.
• Experience with the .NET framework, ASP.NET, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)).
• Experience with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
• Solid background and practical experience in requirements analysis, object-oriented methodologies and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and practices.
• Experience with RDBMS Database design/development/Queries.
What Would Be Nice To Have :
• Development experience in SharePoint.
• Experience with source control tools (Azure DevOps, Git).
• Experience with Bootstrap CSS Framework.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others.
The annual salary range for this position is $132,600.00-$198,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
