Qualifications:
• Expert in Backend Services and API development, particularly with server-side JavaScript on the Node.js Runtime.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Express.js, Webpack, and OAuth.
• Extensive experience in cross-platform development with a strong emphasis on Node.js.
• Solid understanding of Microservices architecture and scalability best practices.
• Familiarity with GraphQL is a plus but not required.
• Experience with open-source work management tools like JIRA, Jenkins, and GitHub.
• Welcomes working in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Self-motivated with a start-up/entrepreneurial mindset.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and continuously enhance digital products for a better user experience.
• Maintain a strong and evolving mastery of RESTful API development focusing on Node.js.
• Engage in hands-on programming, design discussions, code reviews, and system testing, while adhering to best industry practices and providing thorough API documentation.
• Create APIs, develop deployable code, document, and unit test new features for digital products.
• Collaborate with fellow API Developers, Team Leads, and Architects to deliver features by constructing reusable RESTful APIs.
• Work with Quality, Product, and Cloud Engineering teams to ensure digital assets remain functional, secure, and aligned with business goals.
