As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving significant transformations within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead diverse technology projects and mentor a skilled team of developers in distributed microservices and full stack systems, crafting solutions that address regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with new tools, engage in technology communities, and occasionally contribute to coding and code evaluations.
• Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans.
• Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, alongside various AWS services and open-source database technologies.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's Degree.
• 7+ years of experience in languages such as Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks.
• 1+ year of people management experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.
